DAR Sports: Top NFL QBs, RBs, and WRs This Season

Introduction
The NFL season is basically all but over. While many of us are excited about the Super Bowl, and rightfully so, the team decided to take a look back at all of the offensive players and rank them. Some of us picked a top 5, some picked 3, some just picked the top one and gave props to some others, but at the end of the day, we all brought our opinions to the table. Who was the best QB this season? Who was the best RB? WR? Let's get into it.

Best QBs
-This is a fairly tough one to rank considering the fact that so many QBs this season showed they could get the job done. While I would pick Tom Brady as the top QB, what he did this year is almost to be expected every year. One could say Aaron Rodgers was the best, due to his stretch of games to close out the season and help the Packers win the NFC North. Matt Ryan, the Atlanta Falcons QB, is also another one who could very well get the distinction of being the best this season. Or how about the rookie Dak Prescott, who helped lead the Cowboys to a division title and a 13-3 record? Or how about Derek Carr, who was a MVP front runner before injury? Maybe you want to give credit to Drew Brees, who despite not making the playoffs, had another monstrous year with his stats. Regardless of who you pick, those listed were easily the top QBs this season. Let's see who the rest of the team picks.

@Peagle05
I was asked to provide a top 5, and here are my top 5 QBs this season.

Tom Brady
Matt Ryan
Derek Carr
Aaron Rodgers
Drew Brees

@TrueBlueLowry21
Here go my top 3 picks for QB this year

Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Ryan

@IUseCondoms
My picks for the top 3 QB's in the
NFL this season.

1. Tom Brady
-This man was by far the best QB this season. He went on an incredible run throwing 28 TD's to just 2 picks and winning his team 11 games to just 1 loss and a trip to the Super Bowl. However, he is not the MVP this year, which brings me to....

2. Matt Ryan
-Easily the MVP pick this season. There is no high prolife Falcons offense without him. I always considered him a choking overrated piece of shit who pads his stats up to miss the playoffs. But he raised his game to a whole other level this season, setting records and throwing close to 40 TD's.

3. Aaron Rodgers
-Pretty terrible for half of the year, but his run was so magical, it cracked him back into the top 3. He was insane. TWENTY TWO TD's to ZERO picks. A monster.

@DFkinLopes_
Here are my personal choices for the top 3 QBs this season.

1. Dak Prescott
-To lead a team how he did and to have the impact he did was amazing, as he overcame a lot of adversity during his rookie year and had to fill some big shoes. He would lead America's team to a 13-3 season and made the playoffs.

2. Aaron Rodgers
-As much as I hate the fucking guy and think he gets too much hype for some of the things he gets hyped about, he really was impressive this year. He took his team from a 4-6 season where no one thought they were making the playoffs to a 10-6 season and made it all the way to the NFC championship game.

3. Matt Ryan
-This guy is awesome and I've always liked him since he joined the league, he just hasn't been able to make it to the Super Bowl until now. For him to turn that team into the best offense in the league and to defeat the teams he did in such a dominant fashion, he deserves some praise.

@ShokusApollo
As far ae the QBs go, my top pick is Brady. Tom Brady is the best this year, followed by Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers. But Brady does what he always does, so it's not as impressive in a way. This kid Dak Prescott however impressed me. He does have the best offensive line in the league, but he still made big plays in crisis. He proved to be very efficient and sound this season. The guy can be a top tier QB if he continues to improve. I was also impressed by Jimmy Garappolo as well, but he wasn't the best this year by any stretch.

Best Running Backs
This position was really a very tough one as always this year. For one rookie, he seized the opportunity given to him and ran with it (pun intended). I think Ezekiel Elliott had a great year, as did the Cardinals' David Johnson, and Demarco Murray showed he could still move the ball up the field. Quiet as kept, the Falcons duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman was also solid and the Dolphins had Jay Ayayi, and of course, the Steelers have  Le'veon Bell. Who was the best this year?

@Peagle05
As far as the best running backs this season, here are my top 5.

Ezekiel Elliott
David Johnson
Le'veon Bell
Jay Ajayi
Demarco Murray

@IUseCondoms
Here are my top 3 Running Backs this season.

1. Le'Veon Bell
-The most talented and complete running back in the league. He is so patient, he creates holes for himself and gains bursts of speed so quick it can turn a 3 yard loss into a 6 yard gain, or a 60 yard TD. Just imagine what he would do behind the Cowboys O-Line.

2. David Johnson
-Terrific running back who can score at any time and explode whenever he feels like it. He's a great blocker too. He literally does it all. Just imagine him behind the Cowboys O-Line too.

3. Jordan Howard
-Yes. He is a better runner as he combines vision and power to gain yards and touchdowns. He had 1313 yards on 250 carries with YPC of 5.2 and averaged 88 yards a game. He will become a dominant force in this league. Better than that horse mouth who wears #21 for the Cowboys.

@DFkinLopes_
Here are my picks.

1. Le'Veon Bell
-This guy is a fucking beast overall, just an amazing running back who can catch and run it or he can just run the ball like no other. It's amazing how patient he is and follows the blocks, as that's how a back should do it.

2. Ezekiel Elliott
-Of course I'm throwing my boy Zeke on this list. He's a badass who has an amazing line and he would've broke the rookie rushing record, if he played the last 1.5 games. He is a great back all around, can catch and definitely knows how to run.

3. David Johnson
-This guy is a fucking beast as well. He's super complete like Bell and just a monster in gaining yards for the Cards.

@ShokusApollo
My top pick for RB is Le'Veon Bell.

I think it's close between he, Ezekiel Elliott and David Johnson. I'll give him edge over those two because of his pass catching ability. But the kid is an absolute beast. He's patient and very durable. He's proved to be a true workhorse back and that's rare these days. Pittsburgh needs to use him more and more creatively because he is a game changer.

@TrueBlueLowry21
A very tough list to make, but these are the top 3 to me.

Ezekiel Elliott
Le'veon Bell
Devonta Freeman

Best Wide Receivers
-The WR position is stacked with about six or seven choices for the top receiver in the game. OBJ, Julio, Dez, AB, AJ Green, Mike Evans, and Ty Hilton all have a chance to be named the best, but it's impossible to choose. This is the toughest category of them all, but the facts remain, the names listed are the top tier of the receiving core in the NFL.

@Peagle05
This list is tough, as far as order but here are my top 5.

Julio Jones
Antonio Brown
AJ Green
Odell Beckham Jr.
Ty Hilton

@IUseCondoms
Here are my top 3 wide receivers this season.

1. Odell Beckham Jr
-C'mon y'all. Easiest question ever. Most complete receiver in the NFL and that's all I have to say about that. And he actually scores touchdowns. Moving on.

2. Antonio Brown
-He's similar to Odell's play. They're neck to neck with almost everything except pure hands and AB beats Odell in route running by just a little bit. Not as explosive and doesn't score as much, but he is just as talented. Great receiver. I'd kill for him.

3. Julio Jones
-All I have to say is he's an athletic freak who is a matchup nightmare. I wouldn't want to go up against that guy. He would be the best if he scored double digit TD's consistently, but that's a conversation for another day.

@DFkinLopes_
Here are my top 3 receivers.

1. Julio Jones
-This guy has always been amazing, but the year he's had along with Matt Ryan is just remarkable. Those two are the reasons that's such a big offense.

2. Antonio Brown
-I think AB is the best receiver in the league overall as he's super explosive and can make any defense focus and worry about him, which opens up Bell even more.

3. Dez Bryant
-The reason I'm picking him is because he honestly had a great season. The games he missed at the beginning and the slow start hurt his overall season performance, but when Dallas needed him, he really stepped up and became a big part of the Dallas offense. I mean what other receiver caught two TDs and threw for one in a game this year? Exactly #ThrowUpTheX

@TrueBlueLowry21
For my top 3 receivers this season, I picked the three most consistent and the best.

Antonio Brown
Odell Beckham Jr.
Julio Jones

@ShokusApollo
I had to put Odell as my top receiver. He's my favorite receiver and I have to give the man his just due. Now the league leading receiver this year was Ty Hilton followed by Julio Jones (who is having the best year), but OBJ is third with over 1300 yards. He is an immature brat and needs to get his head on straight, but the kid is electric. He can't be covered and has blazing speed. I think that OBJ, Julio, AB, Dez and AJ Green are interchangeable as the best WRs. Those guys are all matchup nightmares with rare combinations of strength and speed.
